Data processing notice for participants of the event

  1. The co-controllers of your personal data are the co-organizers of the event “United in Excellence: Kick-Off Meeting of Poland’s New Teaming Projects” (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”):
    1.     2. Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences, with its registered office in Warsaw (00-716) at ul. Bartycka 18,, Tax ID (NIP): 525-000-89-56, registered in the Register of Scientific Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences under the number RIN-III-20/98,
    3. Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development, with its registered office in Wrocław (54-066) at ul. Stabłowicka 147, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS No. 0000850580, Tax ID (NIP): 8943140523, Statistical ID (REGON): 386585168.
  2. Your personal data – including first and last name, email address, affiliation, gender/gender identity, dietary preferences, video recordings, and image – will be processed in connection with your participation in the Event.

  4. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(a) and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), i.e. consent and the legitimate interests of the Co-Controllers.
  5. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to participate in the Event.
  6. The recipients of your personal data will be only entities authorized to obtain such data under applicable law or entities involved in the organization of the Event, in particular Candela Foundation with its registered office in Warsaw (02-822) at ul. Grochowska 357/513., entered in the National Court Register of associations, other social and professional organizations, foundations, and independent public healthcare units under KRS No. 0000885495, holding Tax ID (NIP): 1133028363 and Statistical ID (REGON): 388293056, commissioned by the Co-Controllers to organize the Event.
  7. Your personal data will be processed until the purpose for which they have been collected ceases or until you withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data.
  8. You have the right to request from the Co-Controllers access to your personal data, as well as the right to rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of such data, the right to object to the processing, and the right to data portability, unless otherwise provided by law.
  9. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
  10. Your data will not be processed by automated means and will not be transferred to any third country.
