Copernicus Science Center, Warsaw (Poland)

About Teaming for Excellence

We are delighted to announce the official kick-off ceremony for three new Teaming for Excellence projects funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe framework programme for research and innovation. The event will take place at the Copernicus Science Centre, Poland's leading outreach hub, symbolically coinciding with Polish Science Day to highlight the importance of scientific knowledge.

This ceremony marks the beginning of three exciting pathways toward advancing scientific discovery and fostering societal engagement. The newly established Centers of Excellence aim to produce world-class research while working closely with local communities to address future challenges with innovative solutions.

Join us as we celebrate this milestone and pave the way for transformative collaboration and scientific progress!

On this day we will officially launch the following projects:

  • Translational Research and Innovation in Ophthalmology Vision – Centre of Excellence (TRIO-VI CoE), coordinated by the International Centre for Translational Eye Research, Institute of Physical Chemistry PAS,
  • Astrocent Plus – Particle Astrophysics Science and Technology Centre (Astrocent Plus), coordinated by the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center PAS,
